Rocketing Along On “The Right Path”
Thanks to Rural Outreach Counselling , Collins Bookshop , The RSL at Wagga & Henty Field Day for all the support on this trip.
After a little layoff, Myself and “The Rocket “are back on the road. If you are new to this email, that’s all fine as I will firstly introduce myself . I’m Mick Miller. I’m a Cancer Survivor & Thriver, Author, Philanthropist, Public Speaker, 6 x Olympic Strength Coach and Performance Consultant.
The Rocket is my beloved 1968 VW Beetle. The Rocket has been right around Australia, to the centre of the country, is not camera shy at all, as its starred in a short film (The Right Path Film) been in plenty of photoshoots, been over taken by every type of vehicle as well as Kangaroos, Goats, Camels, Emus, Dingos & blowflies to name a few. “The Rocket” makes people and animals stop and smile wherever it goes.
I feel we are a great combo !
On this trip both myself and The Rocket travelled to Henty Field Day to promote and sell my latest publication- “The Right Path Self Discovery Journal” and delivered a presentation at the Wagga RSL. It was a great time meeting everyone at the field day and having the opportunity to speak in front of wonderful audience to share “The Right Path” was very humbling .
The Right Path Self Discovery Journal blended in with the locals as well as the crops at Henty. If I may share with you some information about the Journal please. The Right Path Self Discovery Journal allow you to Develop Awareness of Yourself, Your Values & Your Purpose. It includes my own story, allows you guidance to discover your values & purpose. The journal has self development activities, monthly check in diary pages, tear out inspirational quote pages with inspiring Australian photography. I’m so grateful to all the individuals who have not only been part of this publication but also those who have supported my vision since day one. Even though traffic was a little slow, it was wonderful to see over 60,000 people attending the Henty Field day on its final day. The Henty Field Day is the biggest Southern Australian Single Agriculture Show even of its type. People come as far as 500km away to come to this great show. The Show covers over 105 hectares and has over 3500 business sites. Good thing Australia is an island and that I brought my Gps or I could have got lost ! It not only displays all types of machinery that is associated with farming.
The show also has mens cloths, ladies cloths , dresses, boots, hats, belts , beds , face creams , kids garments, school displays, fashion shows, sheep dog shows to name a few and some of the best homemade scones with jam and fresh cream from the Country Women’s Association which I gave a little nudge while I was there - Thanks Ladies! The atmosphere for the whole show was so warm and inviting from all who attended. I felt very privileged to have been invited and special thanks to The Collins Bookshop for allowing me to display and sell The Right Path Self Discovery Journal on their stall. I’m keen to get back out there next year !
After shaking hands, hugging all the town folk, discussing crops , livestock and selling lots of “The Right Path Journals “at the Henty Field day. And having the opportunity the delivery of a great presentation to a near sell out audience at the Wagga RSL. It was time to send myself and “The Rocket” towards “The Right Path” homewards. All the way home myself and ‘The Rocket” had a huge following as usual! This consisted of cars , trucks & motor bikes that where all behind us. Luckily no wild animals!
It was just like old times and great being back out there on the road making a contribution to the universe with what I have to offer.
